That said it's discontinued, but you still might be able to some bottles on ebay around 0/150. A good alternative is Pasha EDT by Cartier, that you can get for under online. I had the original Jazz in the iconic black and white plastic bottle back around 1990 or so. Like all good things, this has been discontinued so of course I decided to try some clones. Here's what I tried and my thoughts.
This fragrance is artistic & playful, not a snobbish cologne despite the Yves Saint Laurent label. It's colors & music notes, and completely evocative of actual jazz music. It's a simple fresh and spicy scent. There is nothing else that comes closer to the vintage version of Jazz, and the price of Amber Oud is reasonable for a 30ml bottle. The newer formulations of Jazz have done away with all the animalics, tobacco and sandalwood. If you're OK with that, just get the current formulation. It performs well. I can't tell if you are specifically looking for clones of YSL or are looking to explore actual fragrances from the YSL line. But for exploring the actual line, IMO, I would suggest these to sample: Jazz Full wear rating and review of 1988 men's fragrance release from Yves Saint Laurent, Jazz EDT. YSL cologne with notes of lavender, coriander, oak moss, and more.
