Hi everyone, I finally got an opportunity to buy a Sea-Dweller last week from one of my local Rolex ADs, after about 9 months of being on the interest list. I just wanted to share a few thoughts and pictures of it with the forum as I've gained some good insights from other contributors here. The new generation of the Sea Dweller brought about even greater depth-ratings thanks to changes in the case, the replacement of the 1665's plexi with a thick sapphire crystal as well as a notably larger escape valve. These innovations provided the Sea Dweller with an impressive 4000ft/1220m depth rating!
